These beaded hoops reflect the ancient Saddleback Mountain pattern depicting the mountains in Oregon, seen from the Washington State Side of the Columbia River.
Using a ladder-stitch beading technique, they are adorned by glass Miyuki Delica beads woven around silver-plated iron hoops over a course of about 2 hours.
This is slow fashion, rooted in Indigenous artistry: timeless, sacred.
